Date: January 16, 2020, Place: New Barili Covered Court
Members of the New Barili Barangay Council Committee on Environmental & Sanitation which were also officers of the Philmaize Cooperative of the New Barili Chapter were gathered for a focused group discussion for a SWOT analysis initiated by Celeste Deita. The group discussion was fruitful and productive as concerns were raised by each member.
One of which was a care taker of the Team NB Vermiculture where he disclosed the disadvantages, weakness and threats for having a community garden being run as a community, being run by an individual and being run on a commission basis. They also divulged the advantages and opportunities for establishing a commission based scheme in continuing/running the vermiculture center. They unanimously stated that they aren’t close minded when it comes to having a community based/commission based vermiculture center.
