Seminar on Composting and Vermiculture

Last July 12, 2019, a seminar on Composting and Vermiculture was held in New Barili. Barangay officials and community leaders were invited to listen to the lectures prepared by Mrs. Rosabella Calupez, an agricultural technologist and Mrs. Leonora Acas, both from the Office of the Municipal Agriculturist. Their lecture was about how to properly utilize composting and vermiculture as a means to lessen biodegradable waste. The programme started with a prayer, the a pre-test, followed by the lecture proper, a post-test, an open forum and closing remarks. All 29 participants were given certificates of participation. Meanwhile, the two speakers were honored by certificates

of appreciation for sharing their time and knowledge to the residents of the barangay.
