Purok Survey

The survey that we conducted this exposure was focused only in the top 5 problems that our team and the community people were able to identify during our precedent immersion in the barangay. Among these problems are absence of bert, water sources at risk, poor compliance to medication by some hypertensives, and poor toilet utilization. One other problem, the improper solid waste management, was addressed by the medical students who came before us. Because one of our major objectives is to attain the sustainability of their projects, it weighed us down when we learned from the majority of families that they have gone back to burning and open dumping of garbages. Hence, a thorough planning has to be done all over.

Nevertheless, the kindness and hostility of the people never waned and this fact gave us the positivity that they will coordinate well with us in the creation and implementation of projects that will serve Barangay New Barili both now and the coming generations.
