NB BP Patrollers' Updates

The group of BP Patrollers of New Barili were originally established by team NB so that residents who want their blood pressures checked and those with hypertension do not have to walk great distances just to know if whether their blood pressures are normal or not. Also, they can record their blood pressures on the BP booklets and refer patients to the appropriate authorities whenever the results are too high and abnormal. Last June 29, 2019, the CHP heads on Hypertension, Ms. Arielle Marie Barrientos and Mr. Dwight Christian Genturalez found it necessary to re-evaluate and update their skills on blood pressure measurement. Moreover, the proper referral scheme for very high blood pressures was reiterated to them. A pre-test and post-test evaluation was also done, along with return-demonstration on proper BP taking using a manual sphygmomanometer.
