Health Teaching on Water Potability and SWM At 4P's Family Development Session The first major event that we held this exposure is health teaching about water potability and solid waste management. We divided this health teaching into two lectures, each covering basic topics including: the benefits of clean water to human body and environment (for water potability) and baseline must- knows such as the four categories of waste (SWM).

In order to evaluate how our lecture intervened with the knowledge of the community regarding these topics, we gave them 10- item pretest and post- test, 5 items for water potability and 5 for SWM. We ensured that this health teaching will be enjoyable by giving the community people fun ice breakers in between lectures, raffle awards, and snacks. A lot of smiling faces, young and old, was evident during that time especially during the giving of raffle items. As for our group, we were rewarded simply by the attentiveness of the people during our lectures and the fun interaction that they have given to us.
