Art to Save a Heart Exhibit

Date: January 23, 2020, Place: Tampilisan RHU Lobby

The Art to Save a Heart exhibit was formally opened through a ribbon cutting ceremony by Dra. Carmel Mathilda Ladeza, Ma’am Beth (PHN), Dra. Mariza (Rural Dentist), Sir Luciano Nacion (President of the Senior Citizens of New Barili), and members of the senior citizen namely Ma’am Paciana Erojo & Ma’am Vivian Tortal. The ribbon cutting ceremony was preceded by a formal ceremony emphasizing the awareness of hypertension, the cause of the exhibit & the appreciation for art. Aside from the artworks made by the senior citizens, the following were also displayed and for sale: Paciana Bags (Bags & Pouch made up of residual/recycled wastes); Abulay Crafts (Hand crafts mainly baskets made by one of the members of the senior citizens; & donated artworks from Zamboanga City.
